Videocall with a close friend

I just had a videocall with a close friend that I knew from ICF in from San Diego. I'm especially close to this friend because she brought me into ICF when I was in San Diego, and after I left we've been able to keep in touch through Gmail chat. It was REALLY nice seeing her again after so long, just too bad not in person though haha. Seeing her again also makes me look forward to the time when I'll be going over to California, as it'll be a time when I can catch up with her and other friends from ICF. Just hope I'll be able to meet most of them...

My friend shared with me about some of her problems, and it's a REALLY big encouragement to remember that each of us are facing problems but we still have each other that we can share to and depend on. I remember one of my friends posted on Facebook that it's so easy for us to feel alone, but often these feelings are untrue, and there are people who are thinking of us even behind our backs, when we don't realise it. I helped several friends before with their problems, and I wonder if they did have such thoughts... probably not, since I contact them every now and then, but then again, few people would expect me to be struggling with these kinds of thoughts too.

Somehow, I just feel that this week has been much more encouraging than the past few weeks, even though none of my problems are resolved yet. Although my faith hasn't strengthened much, but I feel some hope returning, and this is probably going to help my spiritual walk and my faith.
